TOUR DESCRIPTION
Your tour begins with a meander through the southern suburbs of Adelaide, before traveling through the wine region of McLaren Vale whilst heading south to the Second Valley or Rapid Bay. I spent all of my younger years swimming, snorkeling and kayaking, the wonderful coastal environment of Second Valley - now you can enjoy the same too. Second Valley, with its three bays, is perfect for the family wanting to discover the fish life of St Vincents Gulf.
On a recent snorkeling trip to Rapid Bay and Second Valley with my 13yr old son and our Japanese clients, we saw -
-
Angel Fish
-
Tommy Ruffs
-
Weedy Whiting
-
Squid
-
Baby Cuttlefish
-
Nudibranchs
-
Leather Jackets
-
and a HUGE Eagle Ray
Just awesome - and all in 5mts or less of water. Not only is the fish life awesome, but so is the coastal scenery.
You will need to bring your mask & snorkel, wetsuit and fins, bathers, towel, sunscreen, sunglasses, hat & snorkeling gear. If you dont have your own snorkeling gear, wetsuit, snorkel & mask and fins are available for hire if required. Shark Shield is also for hire if you wish.

We will pick you up and then return you to your accommodation after a full day of diving. First we call in at my home in Normanville, to get the days provisions. We then load everything in the our vehicle and transfer you to Rapid Bay to meet your personal dive guide, Tricia, for the day. Tricia, your guide is one of the only divers that lives locally, and knows the bottom of Rapid Bay Jetty to the extreme. If you are a professional or amateur underwater photographer, Tricia is one of the best dive buddies in the state of South Australia - she too is a 'bottom crawler' and will point out creatures that you otherwise would have missed. If the weather and tide is on our side, you will have had one of the best days diving ever! If you need to hire dive gear (tank hire will be included in the price), we can help you with that too. * Diving and any other watersports along this coastline is absolutely beautiful with the waters being crystal clear, however, there are days when the weather is not at all kind and all water sports are required to be cancelled. Should this be the case,
